Finally finished up this thing I started last year(?!). Such a relief to do a t-shirt design for myself. All the art requests from the customers we get at work fall into a very narrow range... it's rare to get someone who is actually looking for a good/interesting design. Most of the time it's some poor sod who was named "person in charge of t-shirts" at their organization/business and they'd rather not have the extra hassle. So they hurry through the process, rush the order, and ask for the most boring, acceptable image and text they can think of to play it safe. That's one thing I've learned so far working at a t-shirt company: there's no such thing as "bad" design. There IS, however, such a thing as boring design and that's what you have to watch out for.
