Park Valley Pool t-shirt

I've neglected my blog, but for good reasons. Moving and job searching ate up the remainder of my summer and things are finally settling down once more. Here's a quick freelance project I did right after moving to Raleigh... a t-shirt design for a local pool + recreation center.

It's so odd, I never thought t-shirt design would become my "thing". I'd never even imagined it to be an option, but now that I've begun my second job working in the field, it feels like a good fit. Graphic printing on apparel tends to merge design, typography, and illustration into the creation of the final product, keeping the work much more relevant to my interests than a traditional run-of-the-mill graphic design position would.
